Merlewood Cottage Thatched cottage, quiet retreat in the Dorset countryside

Merlewood Cottage nestles against a hillside in the Tarrant Valley, in the Cranbourne Chase area of natural beauty. The cottage is situated in a tiny village away from the road with only a handful of houses and a church. You really are away from it all, living in nature here. Buzzards are a frequent sight as are pheasants wandering across the lawn.

We offer accommodation for up to 4 people in 2 upstairs bedrooms of the cottage that have king size double beds and a 3rd double bed located in the downstairs study, as an ensuite with private lounge, dining room and bathroom. Bookings can be made only via AirBnB.
